If you have pre-booked and paid for accommodation in bushfire-prone areas, it would also pay to check the property’s policy in relation to cancellations on Extreme and Code Red fire danger days. The Victorian CFA advises to never travel into a bushfire-prone area if a Code Red has been declared.
